A visit to Patpong during the day, how will it look with the night market gone and all the neon lights turned off ? Lets see if it’s worth visiting Patpong during the daytime especially if you’re a tourist. First a look at Patpong Soi 2.
From the Silom Road entrance to Patpong Soi 2 the familiar sign of The Strip go-
Going through the s-
Now to the other end of Patpong 2 a couple of bars were serving drinks but all I saw was one customer he must have wanted to be alone as the few working women that were calling out to me are pretty much on their last legs in their chosen career path weren't going near him.
Now to Patpong Soi 1 which is so much wider than Soi 2 and completely straight its hard to believe that they pull down the Patpong Night Market structure each night the put it back by around 3 pm.
Now this is going to be easy Patpong Soi 1 is dead just a few people passing through from one end to another no food carts nothing so really just stay away until dusk and it will be alive again.
A short walk from Patpong is Thaniya Road which is worth a visit during the day here you can get some decent food and if you're into the local street food then you wont be disappointed.
Ok who cares about the food if you want have a drink and have a few bargirls to keep you company then jump on the Skytrain and go to Nana Sukhumvit Soi 4.
